Exceeds Expectations The Minke Aire unit has exceeded all my expectations. The unit performs flawlessly and moves a lot of air with very little noise. It has a low profile which makes it ideal for use with low ceilings. It is compact, quiet and easily controlled with a hand held remote switch.
Beautiful and silent Easy to install and looks great. Operation is quite and flawless. Built like a tank.
Easy to install, works as advertised Our fan just arrived today. After unpacking and reading the instructions and checking all the parts, I finally realized all the wiring was already hooked up in the unit and all I had to do was wire it to the ceiling mount and attach the hub, light, and blades. It was easy but the instructions were confusing because they talked a lot about things that were already completed. Once I realized that, I had it installed in 10 minutes. Quiet, looks good, and easy to install The last fan we put in was an extended drama of trips to the home supply store and frustration. Fans are not designed for 1920s plaster and lath. So this time, we ordered the fans (which required low clearance, ceiling mount, and an unobtrusive design), AND hired a handyman. When he arrived, he commented on the weight and indicated you never knew about installation time with fans - it could be 30 parts or just a few. These went up in a snap and he was impressed with the quick installation, as were we. All is functioning well through many recent heatwaves, where the fans are on for days at a time. Whisper quiet, too.
Simple, neutral fan Looks pretty much like I expected it to look. It's completely silent and only looks a bit shaky on the highest setting (this shakiness is something I feel like I see on every ceiling fan). Light isn't super bright, but I guess I could swap out the bulb if I cared more (which I don't). I've recommended it to friends already. I know it's a bit larger than is recommended for a room of my size, but it doesn't feel like it overpowers the room at all, actually. |
